Fantasy Football: Five Bold Predictions

1.) These five Wide Receivers get 1,000 yards for the first time

Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers
Dede Westbrook, Jacksonville Jaguars
Will Fuller, Houston Texans
Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers

2.) Preston Williams Finishes the year as the Dolphins highest scoring fantasy WR

Preston Williams went undrafted due to character concerns. Many scouts thought Williams was one of the most talented WRs in the draft. At 6-4, 210 lbs Williams has elite size for the WR position. When Josh Rosen inevitably starts for the Dolphins, watch out for Williams. Both players seemed to have a good connection in the preseason.

3.) Justice Hill finishes within ten spots of Mark Ingram in total fantasy points
The Ravens should lead the league in total rushing attempts. Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram will get their fair share of carries. However, Justice Hill is an electric athlete. With Hill’s speed and athleticism, the Ravens will find a way to make him a consistent part of the Offense. Don’t be surprised in Hill is a low end RB3 at the end of the season. He’s that explosive and talented.

4.) Nick Chubb finishes the season as a top-five Fantasy RB

The Cleveland Browns have a ton of talent at the skill positions on Offense. Many think the passing game with Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr, and Jarvis Landry will be the best fantasy assets on the Browns. I think the Browns will pound the rock more than people are thinking. Nick Chubb was a stud during the second half of last season. Chubb will dominate in the first half of the season, leading to Kareem hunt having a minimal impact when he returns from suspension.

5.) TJ Hockenson and Mark Andrews will finish as TE1’s in 12 team leagues

Both players have high-end talent. Mark Andrews will be Lamar Jacksons, go-to guy. TJ Hockenson will get on the field early because of his blocking, but his overall snaps will allow him ample target opportunities. Expect both of these athletic Tight Ends to have at least five touchdowns. Yes, they both could be matchup dependent but solid starters most weeks.

Bonus: Chris Herndon will be a TE1 based off average points per game

Chris Herndon will be suspended for the Jets first four games. The Jets also have there bye week during week four, so Herndon won’t be able to return until after week five. Herndon is a player you should pick up during week three or four of the season. Sam Darnold and Herndon had an excellent connection last year. Just keep the name Chris Herndon in the back of your mind, he’s set to do some big things.
